The Suppliers

There are more than 50 business energy suppliers in the UK, all competing to be your energy company and offering their own unique take on what a business energy supplier should look like.

Some suppliers are focused on delivering excellent service and maintain UK only call centres offering a range of billing and service options. They tend not to be the cheapest in the market but consistently win customers based on their online reviews and customer recommendations.

Other suppliers concentrate on their product itself, such as green only electricity tariffs or even more recently a vegan only tariff! There are also now companies in the market offering green gas tariffs to more conscientious customers.

Then there is the so called 'big five' who seem to have been around forever. The established players in the UK energy market have the greatest customer share and offer a mix of innovative products, competitive pricing and award winning customer service.
